Who are OFLC MOPS/MOMSNext?

Our Father’s Lutheran Church sponsors our MOPS organization and although all of our steering committee members are Christians we welcome women of all faiths and backgrounds. As long as you are expecting a child, or have a child, you are eligible to be an active MOPS member. If you are a mother of a child who is home-schooled, in pre-school, or daycare, please join us as all mothers are welcome to join MOPS.

OFLC MOPS typically meet on the 1st & 3rd Fridays each month in the Fellowship Hall from September thru May. Doors open at 9:00am, MOPS Kids Drop off at 9:15am and meeting goes from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.  Please see our Calendar for meetings dates and times. Our group is lead by a group of volunteers referred to as the MOPS Steering Committee.

For more information, see our MOPS Frequently Asked Questions.

A Typical MOPS Meeting at OFLC includes:

  • Connecting: A time to catch up with one another.
  • Breakfast: We can’t meet without coffee and breakfast!
  • Speakers: To give us insight and ideas.
  • Small Groups: Friends with whom to relate and share advise.
  • Creative Activities: Fun Easy Projects, even for the least crafty among us.
  • Sharing: Stories, tips, celebrations, heartbreaks, and devotions relating to motherhood.
MOPS at Our Father’s Lutheran Church has a desire to foster Christ-like relationships in an environment for growth and spiritual development as faith shared through actions and words. We intentionally point to God’s word, the Bible, as our source of ultimate truth which leads to spiritual growth.

What About Child Care?

Our MOPS Kids group is lead by a group of dedicated individuals who have all been through training to ensure that your MOPS Kids child receives the best possible care while you enjoy the MOPS Meeting.

Moms will walk hand-in-hand with their children to the education wing where the MOPS Kids teachers are waiting with open arms to give a warm welcome to all of the children.  For additional information, please see the MOPS Kids page.
