Gail Swanson
My name is Gail Swanson and I’ve been a member of Our Father’s Lutheran Church since about 1985!  I enjoy being part of the bell choir, the quilting group, teaching 1st and 2nd grade SS, and changing the paraments in church to adhere to the Church calendar. I also enjoy volunteering at the RiverWorks Thrift Store and the Food Shelf.   My hobbies include just about everything that keeps me outside.  I am so pleased to have the opportunity to work with the Nourishing Hope ministry.  It is very gratifying to see the community come together for this important program.

I live in Greenfield with my husband, Corey, and our two children, Connor and McKenzie. We also have two cats, two dogs and too many chickens to count running around. Most sunny days, you’ll catch me in the garden. I enjoy growing our own food and preserving our harvest for healthy eating year round! We love anything outdoors and try to spend as much time as possible being outside.
I grew up in Western North Dakota, where my family raised Bison, we then moved to Eastern Montana for my high school years. I attended North Dakota State University for Child Development and Valley City State University for Elementary Education. Ever since I was a young child I was passionate about helping others. I am excited to be able to serve and support other members of our community.
