Sunday Worship

 In-Person & Virtual at 9 a.m.

On Sunday mornings, we gather together for worship at 9 a.m. both in-person and virtually. This service is a time of celebration as we worship together and explore God’s Word. The songs in this service draw from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship Hymnal, as well as Christian contemporary songs. Each week, the message brings insight and perspective that make the scripture come alive. Sunday School programming is offered during worship the second, third and fourth Sunday of the month.

Virtual Worship via ZOOM

We welcome you to participate in worship using the Zoom platform where you can view a live video of the worship service, use the chat box to submit prayer requests and announcements, and see the faces of others who are also participating from home. Our Father's has a YouTube channel where you can view worship live at 9 a.m. each Sunday. You can also visit our channel anytime to see worship video archives in case you missed a week of worship along the way. 

Communion at Home Instructions

For those of you who wish to join in taking holy communion while participating in virtual worship, here are some simple instructions.

You will need:
  • A small cup of wine or juice
  • A piece of bread, pita bread, cracker, etc. 

To take communion:
  • When prompted after the Words of Institution and Lord’s Prayer,
  • Eat the Bread
  • Drink the wine/juice, OR
  • Dip the bread in the wine/juice and consume

If participating as a family, feel free to give communion to one another, saying these words:
Give the bread: “This is the body of Christ, given for you.”
Give the wine/juice: “This is the blood of Christ, shed for you.”
