Church Partnerships

In addition, Our Father's Lutheran partners with other organizations to further our influence throughout the world. Our Father's Lutheran Church is a member of the:

Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA)

"As members of the ELCA, we believe that we are freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. With our hands, we do God’s work of restoring and reconciling communities in Jesus’ name throughout the world." - ELCA Mission Statement

ELCA is one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States. About 4 million members across the United States.

Love INC (Love In the Name of Christ - Heartland)

Love INC is a network of 25 churches that links volunteers to people in need.  Love INC – Heartland is the local affiliate serving Delano, Howard Lake, Maple Plain, Rockford, Waverly, Montrose and Watertown.  Our church leads and supports a number of their outreach programs:

  •  Bedding/linens Ministry
  •  The Thanksgiving and Christmas Adopt-A-Family
  •  The Love INC Annual Golf Fundraiser
  •  The annual Love INC Sleep out
You can check them out at loveincheartland.org.

Lunch Box Express

Once again this summer, Our Father's along with YWAM are providing no-cost meals to children in our community who typically receive assistance from the free- and reduced-lunch program offered during the school year.
Lunch Box Fever starts June 9. We need food donations and volunteers.

Riverworks - Food Shelf and Thrift Store

"RiverWorks aligns and mobilizes community resources to deliver powerful solutions which meet the emotional, physical, relational and spiritual needs of people connected to the Rockford/Greenfield area."
