Mission Statement
As God's Children, we Know the love of God, Grow spiritually, and Go serve as Jesus did.
Our Vision
A blessed christian family that empowers lives, is attentive to the needs of others and inspires passion in both community worship and personal spirituality.
Values Statement
- Knowing the love of God given as his Son Jesus Christ is the way to Abundant Life.
Following Jesus is our first priority, and the way to experience a life that is abundant (John 10:10), joy-filled (John 15:11) , and everlasting (John 3:16). We will strive to respond faithfully to His call to live as disciples, no matter what the cost (Mark 8:34-38).
- Following Jesus requires a lifelong commitment to Spiritual Growth.
As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are called to move from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity (Philippians 3:13-14, Ephesians 4:12-24). For this reason we strive to develop an ever-growing relationship with Jesus Christ. This growth happens best through participation in prayer, personal devotion, community worship, and small groups (Acts 2:42-47).
- Just as Jesus loves us without condition, He instructs us to Go and to Serve others, with acts of unconditional love.
All people matter to God and so they matter to us. Jesus came into the world to offer grace and mercy to all persons, no matter what path they have chosen in life (Luke 15:1-32; 19:10). We are committed to obeying Jesus' New Commandment (John 13:34-35) and reaching out with the unconditional and everlasting love of Jesus to all people, just as they are, without regard to race, beliefs, gender, age, lifestyle, or anything else. Jesus sends us into the world to offer His salvation not to a select few persons, but to all people (Matthew 28:19).
- Every believer is gifted for ministry.
We believe God gives every believer special gifts and abilities for faithful living and serving (1 Corinthians 12). We are committed to helping people realize and develop their spiritual gifts, abilities, and passions, and to presenting them with opportunities to serve as the Body of Christ in the world.
- God is continually at work in our lives through the Holy Spirit.
We believe God is at work here and now, through the Holy Spirit, to empower and equip us for carrying out our mission (John 14:26, Acts 2:1-42). We are committed to prayerfully receiving direction from the Spirit that inspires Christ-like living and enables creative and innovative serving.
Vision Statement - Key words defined
- God has blessed our church with all of the gifts we need to serve. We want to live and act from a perspective of abundance, not scarcity, and be good stewards of those gifts.
- We are a family of believers in Christ, who love, care for, forgive and respect each other and those around us. We live and work together as members of the body of Christ. Our church is a comfortable and safe place to come home to.
- Our church leadership and ministries empower members of the church to use their gifts to serve, to grow in their relationship with Christ and transform lives of faith. We remove barriers to God's work and the lives He wants for His people.
- As a church and individuals, we act out the great commission to go and serve all people and share the gospel. We actively minister to our communities, by understanding the needs of others and using our gifts to meet those needs. We witness to others through our good works.
- Our church brings our family and community together in worship and praise of our Lord and Savior. We come to worship with a passion and joy that is renewed and strengthened each week as we come together & go out to serve.
- Our family members grow in a deep, personal spirituality and relationship with their Savior and strengthen their faith through prayer, devotion, study and fellowship. Our hearts and minds are open to the Holy Spirit inspiring us to lives of discipleship.
