Through the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we receive forgiveness of sins in the body and blood of Jesus. With the forgiveness of sins comes life and salvation. Holy Communion is a gift from God given to all who wish to receive.
It is the tradition at Our Father’s Lutheran Church that we offer a Celebration of Communion class to students in 5th grade to explain the meaning of this sacrament and why it is important to all Christians. Parents who feel their children are ready to participate are welcomed meet with one of our pastors. All are welcome at Christ's Table.
First Communion for 5th Graders will be a part of our worship service on November 17, 9 AM. For more information, contact OFLC (763)477-6300.
